A lark so bold it changes my world
So stark and cold assuming indifference
It always matters
Still wrapping my head around that
I feel so tender and small
Fee-fi-fo-fum crush hearts down the hall
Yeah It always matters
Still wrapping my head around that
I wrestle not with will
But with the corner called “home” still
The baby’s all but bathed but now I drink
Till I feel consoled and swallow you whole
I chase away the ones who would stay
I flip the scrip a buck mil a day
And The difference matters
Still wrapping my head around that
The constant nightmares press
A paper boy to thinned excess
The baby’s all but bathed but now I drink
Myself under chairs once featured you there
I lost both my arms in the quest for a hug
I cannot embrace just perpetually shrug
In the face of the clock I am parts of a sum
My head in your hands is all I will ever become

Their albums are getting better and better. The complexity, the anger, the melodies, their musical skills...They're just completely outstanding. Long live the Pears! k

A lot more pop and emo elements than pears or even the lollies, and honestly i have grown to like Zach's vocals in this element more than other things like pears. buzzrd666

This is such a strong album! Each song is brilliant in its own way. Strongly recommended. Favorite track? Varies by the day. Over time, I believe it has to be Cops on St Andrews because of that insane piano. hval85
